Thank you for choosing Perfact Brow! Henna and jagua are temporary body art. The color develops after the paste comes off, and good care helps your design stay darker and last longer.
Do & Don't
✓ Do
Let the paste dry and leave it on as long as your artist recommends (often several hours).
Remove dried paste by gently scraping or flaking it off. Don't wash it off.
Keep the area dry for the first 12–24 hours after removing the paste.
Expect the stain to darken over the next 24–48 hours.
Once it has developed, a little natural oil or balm helps protect the design.
✗ Don't
Wash, scrub or soak the design in the first 12–24 hours.
Use exfoliating scrubs, chlorine pools or hot tubs on the design.
Rub or pick at the paste or the stain.
Use black henna or other products not provided by your artist.
Timeline
Day 0
Paste on: let it dry and stay on as recommended. Scrape it off, don't wash.
Day 1–2
Keep the area dry for 12–24 hours. Color deepens (henna: orange to reddish-brown; jagua: blue-black).
1–3 weeks
The design gradually fades as skin renews. Avoid scrubbing to help it last.
