Eyeliner Permanent Makeup Aftercare
Thank you for choosing Perfact Brow! Proper care of the treated area in the coming weeks makes a big difference to how your eyeliner heals and looks. Please follow these instructions closely.
Do & Don't
✓ Do
- Keep the area clean and dry for the first 24–48 hours.
- After 48 hours, gently wash twice a day with a mild, unscented cleanser and water.
- Apply the aftercare cream or ointment your permanent makeup technician provides, as directed, to keep the area moisturized.
- Let scabs fall off on their own.
- Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from the sun.
- Attend your touch-up appointment 4–6 weeks after treatment.
✗ Don't
- Get the area wet in the first 24–48 hours (swimming, sweating, or washing your eyes with water).
- Pick, scratch or peel. It can cause scarring or infection.
- Apply makeup to the area until scabs have fully healed.
- Expose the area to direct sunlight or tanning beds for at least 2 weeks.
- Do strenuous exercise, saunas or steam rooms for the first week. Heat and sweat affect healing.
Healing Timeline
| Day 1–2 | Keep your eye area completely dry: no water, swimming or sweating. Apply aftercare cream as directed. |
| Day 3–7 | Gently wash twice daily with mild, unscented cleanser. Keep using the cream. Scabs may form; don't pick them. No strenuous exercise, sauna or steam. |
| Week 2 | Keep avoiding direct sun and tanning beds. No makeup on the area until the scabs have completely healed. |
